I shall be in the shed early doors as usual. Later I shall cook buttered Swede as an extender for my veggies and might have a walk after that....

I spoke with forked tongue! I have just realised I don't want to go in the shed,I want to have my breakfast and go back to bed.... So that's what I shall do. One of the advantages of being self-employed and retired!

Sawing my pent shed roof in half and stripping the rubber roofing sheet of it. Done one skip run this morning to shift the majority of the shed to the skip. I cancelled my gym session for this morning, too much to do and I am a getting a workout with all the shed shifting tasks. :extrawink:

This morning I marked the position of the cylinder and front lid while making sure they were in the correct relationship with the target end with the valve face perpendicular with the base, Then I went back to hand work.... after drilling the target face clearance for 4BA I filed the front face of the casting to ensure there was a positive face for the nuts. That took half an hour..... Now I am after my breakfast.

Sue is having difficulty getting on One Guy this morning, which is why she hasn't been able to report on her holiday in Northumberland.

It must be Sue's location, I can't see anything amiss.

Well, I wont be building our new storage shed this afternoon! Just had an interesting conversation with the dispatcher for the delivery, the crew have reported that they cant get up the "steep hill" (the stone stets off Skipton Road) in their wagon, which apparently is of such proportions that it wont fit on our local roads? The package is 4'6" long so why it has gone on oversized transport beats me. I pointed out that non of the other delivery firms have any problem finding us and that the fire brigade check the parking regularly to make sure they have emergency access if they need it. Also that they could have an easier access to St James Square if they just drove round the corner and turned right! Crew have moved on to their next drop so my next option is a re-schedule to next Wednesday when they will attempt delivery with a smaller van!

Methinks they are sticking rigidly to Sat Nav, no thinking outside the box. Disappointed as I wanted to finish that job off before Sunday. Best laid plans and all that. :ohno:
