The image captures the moment the ancient Egyptian obelisk, known as Cleopatra's Needle, was being loaded into its custom-built iron transport vessel in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1877, for its journey to London.

As soon as Cathy mentioned roof I saw the ridge tiles. It's a ventilator tile that sits on a ridge tile.

It is indeed, it's on the kitchen roof at Chez Kev. It has the vent pipe, from the cooker extractor, in it. Well done Cathy :good:

Not exactly Ian but I am giving it to you. At one time the early valve sets needed two sources of power. The low tension was supplied by a single lead/acid cell and the high tension was supplied by a dry battery with multiple tappings for adjustment. This gave up to 120V.
