I mustn't have been keeping up. I really should have got that one. I've trudged up that hill and through that arch many times on the way to the boarding house in Ty Gwyn gardens that provided us with a holiday many times in the 1950's.
PS Just looked on Streetview - the house is a lot grander than I remember it.

We stayed at Bodelwydden Castle for a few days, we had a day out in Conwy and walked ths walls. We went to Drew Pritchard's antique shop too, he looks taller on the TV
For anyone interested in the lens type, it's a tilt-shift and can be used in many different ways, from straightening verticals in architecture images to the miniature effect used in the Conwy pic although I will confess to creating it in Photoshop, tilt-shift lenses are far too expensive for me

Living in Stockport, North Wales was the closest seaside destination so we went a lot of time there. My main memory of Bodelwydden is the marble church, St Margaret's and the very steep hill that used to be a killer on the old road. I suppose it's been rebuilt now but I remember a driver being killed there when his load of steel sheet sliced through the cab after a runaway on the hill. Those were the days!
Back to our onions! This was the chimney at the Pillsworth Bleach works at Bury. What is the correct name for the distinctive chimney head?

Could be described as a cutter but definitely not glass. We have had it before and it puzzled the congregation then. To me it's perfectly obvious. Look at it carefully and ask the question, 'Is it more than one thing?'

Don’t know, why would they be held together at one end with masking tape, to do something in double time, as against not having them together and doing it once? I can’t get past scoring down something to mark it or clean it out.
