It's not a quick job, there is a long trench to hand dig through stony ground. The water is now going into the drain below the pond but the trench for a new drain back to where the water is rising is only half way there. I'll report back when it's done!

It's cold, wet drizzle here. I have got a man in to sort out my drain issue, I hope he can get it sorted, I'm fed up with water streaming down the yard!

Yesterday would have been Col's birthday and Craig and I celebrated by doing something that Col would have really enjoyed, in fact it was his favourite treat. We went to Burger King in Skipton and sat in the car eating a whopper meal! Afterwards we had a little ceremony burying some of Col's ashes i...

Is there an argument for thinking that Andy Burnham knew he would be blocked from standing at this point? It won't have done him any harm, but Starmer is certainly damaged by the situation.

Re: Photography Nuts & Bolts
I've had advice from a couple of friends in the history society who are both keen photographers. They both recommended contacting the London Camera Exchange if I want to sell it and the lenses. The batteries are completely dead so my friend has taken it home to get them charged up and to check all i...

I am always ready with my big coat and wellies! My big concern is for my son, who works night shift in Burnley. I will be worrying about him getting home to Colne in the early morning.

Colin's camera needs a new home. It's a Canon EOS 70d (w) with a couple of lenses. Any recommendations on how to go about selling it and what it might be worth?

Re: COMPUTERS, THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY
Hi, just moving my question of ‘How do you find out how many times an image has been viewed?’ From Lights in the Sky. I’ve hovered several times over photos, but it hasn’t worked. Without a Mouse , is there another way? Does the Gallery record how many times a photo is viewed that I could get into?...

I'm waiting for my sister in law and her hubby to arrive on their journey back from Worthing to Orkney. The current ETA is 6.30 to 7pm, but that was when they were still on the M40 down in Oxfordshire. I don't envy them their onward journey tomorrow when they stop over in Perth, especially as the M...
