Yesterday it developed into quite a pleasant afternoon in Barlick We had frequent sunny spells and late sun right up to nightfall. We have had a quiet dry overcast night with a light breeze. At the moment it's overcast and dry and the glass is steady on 1000mb. The forecast is very much like yesterday, light rain all day plus sunny spells in the afternoon. The WSW wind is moderate all day and gusts to 35mph this afternoon. We can expect a high of 17C, a low of 11C tonight and a wind chill of -2C until late morning when it increases to -3C for the rest of the day. The outlook is for cooler, wetter weather with a noticeable lack of sunshine.

Much the same here Stanley, I thought we were supposed to be having heavy rain this morning, but nothing has arrived yet.

Yesterday afternoon was cold and wet but dried up later and gave us a little late sun. We had an overcast night, windy but mostly dry. At the moment it's overcast, windy and cool. It wouldn't surprise me if it rained and I fully expect the heating to kick in. The glass has plunged to 984mb and the forecast is for a day of wind and significant rain. The westerly winds will be brisk and gust to almost 40mph. We can expect a high of 15C and a ,low of 9C with a -3C wind chill all day. The outlook is for similar temperatures and perhaps slightly less rain but definitely not Flaming June!

Exactly the same as our Kev although the last time I checked just after lunch it showed a slight rise when I gave it a tap. Tomorrow is supposed to be as lightly better day. "Always look on the bright side of life"

I will confess mine is an online barometer, it gets data from Leeds Bradford airport.

Yesterday was as expected a cold wet affair and yes, the heating came on. Definitely not flaming June! We have had a cold wet night and at the moment it's dry, the rain has stopped but it's still cold and the heating is on. The glass has risen to 998mb and is still rising. The forecast is for light showers up to midday with possible occasional breaks in the overcast allowing us a glimpse of the sun. The westerly winds are moderate and at the moment are gusting to 30mph. We can expect a high of 15C and a low tonight of 9C and a constant chill all day of -3C. The outlook is for a week of similar weather to today. Deep Joy!

High grass pollen today in the north west, I have been taking fexofenadine for my hayfever and it seems to be working. Ceterizine had become less effective. Might even get some bits done on the gazebo between the showers.

Yesterday was, on the whole, wet and windy with very few sunny spells. No late sun and we have had a cool, dry overcast night. That's how it is at the moment but it feels as though rain might be imminent... The glass has risen and is on 1005mb. The forecast is for a similar day to yesterday, heavy overcast and rain until midday and then sunny spells and showers in the afternoon. The constant SE winds will be moderate and gust to 30mph in the middle of the day. We can expect a high of 17C and a low of 10C tonight with a chill of -3C for much of the day. The outlook is for similar broken weather all week and Monday may be extremely wet.

I have done my shopping trip to the Co-op and that wind is cold! The CH has been kicking in all morning and no, I have not altered the setting, it's on the same setting I have had all winter. I shall have a breather and then do a bit of cooking.....

Yesterday afternoon was bright but cold. We went into a overcast night which was dry but cold, the heating has kicked in..... At the moment the overcast is broken, it's dry and cold enough to keep the heating on. The glass fell back a bit but has now started rising and is on 1008mb. The forecast is for a breezy7 overcast day with occasional light showers.... The constant SW wind will be moderate all day and gusts to over 30mph. We can expect a high of 17C and a low of 10C tonight with a -3C wind chill for most of the day. It will feel cold.... It gets colder and wetter tomorrow and then the rest of the week is slightly brighter and drier but still unseasonably cool.

Very nice, we were just looking at Limone sul Garda for a short break. We stayed at The Palme Hotel, in Limone, about 10 years ago and loved it. Travelling around the lake on the ferry, to different towns, was a highlight.
