Yesterday was indeed much more tolerable thanks to the constant moderate breeze in the afternoon. We had full sun until nightfall and then a calm, overcast but dry night. That's how things are at the moment and the glass is down slightly on 1024mb. The forecast is for light showers until dawn and then a day of bright overcast and sunny spells. The moderate easterly winds will prevail until this evening when they swing into the SW. We can expect a high of 27C and a low of 13C tonight with a wind chill of -2C for most of the day. The outlook is for dry weather and more moderate temperatures.

Yesterday was very comfortable, today is starting off overcast and breezy, looks like we could have an odd shower.

Thunder and lightning up here plus the occasional rain shower. Lower clouds are moving east to west, and higher ones going the opposite way!

Yesterday the threat of thunder retreated eastwards and we eventually got a sunny afternoon. It was sunny right up until darkness fell and then we developed a heavy cloud cover. That's the state of the wicket at the moment, heavy overcast, light westerly breeze, dry and mild. The glass is steady on 1017mb and the forecast is for a dry bright overcast day with plenty of sunny spells. The constant WSW wind will be moderate and gusts to just under 30mph. We can expect a high of 19C and a low tonight of 7C with a wind chill that reaches -3C for much of the day. Tomorrow will be warmer and full sun, the rest of the week is cooler and more mixed with some showers.

Yesterday we had no thunder, not even a rumble, we had odd bits of cloud, a light occasional blustery breeze and a very acceptable temperature.
Today is setting off as mostly overcast, breezy and cooler. As I speak the sun has just popped through, and now it’s gone again, no, it’s back

The thunder was mainly to the east of us Gloria..... Never developed beyond distant rumbles.
This morning we have watery sunshine....

Yesterday afternoon was mostly bright overcast but the sun returned later and lasted right up to nightfall. We have had a quiet night, calm and dry under a clear sky. We have almost a full moon. At the moment we have a clear sky and a light breeze. The glass is steady on 1020mb. The forecast is for a clear day of full sun until late afternoon when some cloud will return. The mainly SW wind will be light until late this afternoon when it gains a little to become moderate. We can expect a high of 21C and a low of 10C tonight. There will be negligible wind chill until the wind rises later when it might get to -2C. The outlook is for cooler weather with sunny spells and light showers.

Yesterday afternoon we gradually lost the sun and by nightfall it was heavy overcast, no late sun. We had a quiet calm night under heavy overcast. At the moment that's still the situation. The glass is down on 1014mb and still falling. The forecast is for light showers until early morning and then a day of sunny intervals... The westerly winds are light and gradually become moderate. We can expect a high of 17C and a low of 12C tonight. The wind chill will slowly climb to -3C by this afternoon. The outlook is for similar temperatures and rain showers for the rest of the week.

It turned out lovely yesterday, just a tad cooler than we’ve been getting so made it more comfortable to sit out. This morning is quite breezy with a fully covered clouded sky, and a drop in temperature.

Same here Gloria.... But no complaints....
08:58..... We have had a light spatter. Not enough to qualify as a shower!

What did you think of the Sunset and Moonrise pics that I posted?
I thought they were lovely. For Barlickers, probably happening without you even realising.

I thought they were good Cathy and I wouldn't have seen them if you hadn't posted them because I am not registered with Facebook....
Yesterday we never saw the showers that were forecast, just an occasional spatter of rain early on. The afternoon was bright overcast and that remained true right up to nightfall, no late sunshine... We had an overcast but dry night and the glass is steady on 1014mb. The forecast is for more significant rain today, only time will tell how accurate that is! The SW winds will be moderate and we can expect a high of 18C and a low of 12C with a wind chill of -2C for most of the day. Expect another gloomy wet day tomorrow and then for the rest of the week we are promised sunny spells and only occasional light showers.

We had none of the showers forecast yesterday. Today we have had rain during the night, at the moment it is fine with only a light breeze and noticeably cooler than last week.

Been out for a walk, we got caught in a light shower, but we were dry before we got home. We’ve had one heavy shower since, but nothing continuous.

Yesterday was a day of very light rain...... and an afternoon that was overcast right up to nightfall. We had a quiet overcast night which was dry at first but gradually gave us light rain again. At the moment we have a very light wind, light rain and a glass that is down on 1000mb and still tending to fall. The forecast is for heavy overcast and significant rain until this afternoon when, with a bit of luck, we will get dry weather with sunny intervals..... The westerly wind will be moderate and we can expect a high of 17C and a low tonight of 11C with a -2C wind chill. The outlook is for similar weather, perhaps a shade cooler for a while..... Not exactly Flaming June!

Been for a walk into Longridge, didn’t get wet, and had to take my anorak off as I was too warm, and it wasn’t even sunning.
