Overcast with a light breeze, temperature hasn’t changed much here, if any.

Yesterday afternoon ended up being dry but overcast, only a brief glimpse of late sun. We had a calm overcast but dry night and at the moment it is still overcast and dry but with a light breeze. The glass is up on 1019mb and tending to rise. The forecast is for rain to come in shortly and lasting until noon and then overcast but dry for the rest of the day. The SW wind will be moderate all day and we can expect a high of 18C and a low of 11C tonight with a wind chill around -2C all day. The outlook is for warmer, drier and sunnier weather starting tomorrow and extending towards June!

I blame opening of borders with Europe.
A hot continental high circulating toward the midlands has raised very quickly London Temps to close to / over 30deg C making once again Tube Life unpleasent. New flats build to ( rather not effectively ) keep heat in manage too to let too much external heat in , and while hot air might rise that means at floor 10+ the heat from the street gets the afternoon sun on the walls into a combination where no one thought to install solar heat pumps on the roof. such is what short term , "cheap" building gets us.

Yesterday was the warmest day of the year.... The afternoon was bright overcast and a light spatter of rain but very pleasant, there was a little bit of late sun under the cloud. We have had a very calm quiet night, overcast but dry. That's the picture at the moment, overcast but dry calm and mild. The glass is steady on 1020mb. The forecast is for the sun to break through early this morning and for us to have a sunny warm day. The WSW winds will be moderate and we can expect a high of 18C and a low of 6C tonight with a slight wind chill all day. The outlook is for sunny hot weather.... This is a very early heat wave!

Much the same here Stanley, without the splatter of rain. It was very pleasant.

Yesterday afternoon was overcast but very mild and pleasant. We have had a quiet night and at the moment it's clear, calm and mild. The glass is up on 1027mb and rising. The forecast is for a day of clear skies and unbroken sun. The SW wind is very light and we can expect a high of 22C and a low tonight of 8C with only a slight wind chill. The outlook is for much sun and hot weather. Tomorrow is forecast to be an unbelievable 29C.

It seems a while since we had rain. Today we have gentle , frequent rain. More to come during the week.
Haven’t had the heater on yet, but I feel that it won’t be long.
.
Enjoy your current temperatures and your Bank Holiday . Get out there and soak it all up.

Last two days , covering Church summer fair that really was too hot to have outside , this church doesnt have that much shade, the one later in the year in a Glebe field in the next parish should have some surrounding high trees to take heat out of the air. otherwise in London it has been really tricky to work as not only sunny ,but the air feels dry

Yesterday was a very warm day but the main event is going to be today. We had strong sun right up to edge of dark and a clear calm mild night. This morning it's clear, calm and mild. The glass has risen slightly to 1028mb and is still tending to rise. The forecast is for a day of unbroken sun and subsequent high temperatures.... The wind starts as a very light easterly but by noon has swung into the SW and become moderate12C. We can expect a high of 30C and a low tonight of 12C wind chill is negligible for most of the day and this afternoon will be a welcome cooling breeze. The outlook is for slightly more moderate sunny weather as far as we can see. The temperature today is unseasonably high and could easily break records....

Yesterday was very hot and the slightly increased breeze in the afternoon was very welcome. We had sun right up to nightfall and then a clear calm and very warm night. The glass is down a touch on 1026mb and tending to fall. The forecast is for another day like yesterday. The wind will be very light and variable until this afternoon it becomes moderate and WNW which I suspect will be very welcome again.... We can expect a high of 29C and a low tonight of 12C with negligible wind chill. The outlook is for another hot day on Thursday at 25C and apart from that bright overcast and sun with 19C which will be very acceptable.

Cloudless start and quickly rising temperatures.... Thank goodness for thick stone walls, Northern half of the house is still cool.

Do you have a cellar in your house Stanley? The farm we lived on a few years ago had one, and it always kept to pretty much the same temperature regardless of what it was like outside.

Yesterday was hot! I realised just how hot this morning when I found that the workshop was still 84F. We had full sun right up to nightfall and then a clear calm and very warm night. At the moment it's still clear but noticeably fresher with a moderate east wind. The glass is steady on 1026mb and the forecast is for another clear day of full sun. The constant east wind will be moderate all day and we can expect a high of 20C and a low of 10C tonight with a wind chill of -3C for much of the day. Tomorrow we'll start with the east wind and lower temperatures but in the afternoon when the wind shifts into the south we can expect 26C and then the rest of the week settles into temperatures like today. I think we've seen the last of record breaking highs for a while.

It’s much more bearable today, not as hot, thank goodness, and a pleasant breeze making it very comfortable.
