Indeed a clock said 8am this morning and the lack generally of light in SW London was noticable , peering somewhere off toward south of the north surrey hills clearing the north wood at Norwood a dull orange light appeared as if deciding rising in the east wasnt on.
weatherwise , grotty , spits of wind borne rain and the wind itself couldnt decide which direction it would blow from , much from the south but only because it started east and turned right. Weather best suited to National Hunt racing at Kempton Park

Yesterday afternoon gradually got brighter and drier but we still had a breezy night. This morning we still have a breeze, the overcast is broken and it is not raining. The glass is rising from the depths it plunged to yesterday and is on 986mb. The mainly SW winds will be moderate and gusts will be limited to around 25mph. We can expect a high of 8C and a low tonight of 3C. The wind chill will be -5C this morning but nearer -3C this afternoon. The outlook is for similar broken weather all week, no surprises.

Yesterday it never stopped raining, thoroughly miserable all day. Today is dry and bright.

That was our experience also Gloria.
Yesterday the day ended bright and dry and there was a lot of broken cloud during the night with a brilliant moon. This morning the Met Office tells us we are overcast but the reality is very high broken cloud and a brilliant moon. The light southerly winds will be constant and we can expect a high of 8C and a low of 3C tonight with a wind chill of up to -4C for much of the day. It will be dry, there is no rain in the forecast. The outlook is for similar temperatures all week and rain expected on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

London a mix of sun and rain maybe best described as uneventful but not encouraging to sample the outside world that much

Yesterday afternoon was dry, breezy and cool but acceptable as long as you kept moving. We had a quiet clear night. This morning we have a breeze and a clear sky with a full super moon. The glass is on 996 and tending to fall. The forecast is for an overcast day with light showers. The constant southerly winds are moderate and we can expect a high of 7C and a low of 1C tonight. There will be a -4C wind chill for much of the day. The outlook is for similar weather, no surprises.

Yesterday afternoon gradually got more and more gloomy and it was dark very early. We have had high broken cloud all night with a full moon directly overhead. This is the weather we have this morning, a breeze and a good moon with high broken cloud. After falling yesterday the glass is rising and this morning is on 997mb. The southerly winds are moderate until they start to rise in the afternoon becoming brisk and gusting to 50mph. We can expect a high of 7C and a low tonight of 6C with a significant wind chill all day but reaching -6C later in the day. The outlook is for slightly warmer showery weather.

We’ve had a lovely red sky greeting us this morning, light cloud floating about and no rain. It isn’t supposed to be fine so we’ll see how long it keeps up.

It's a fine start here too. I've got a local tree surgeon cutting back my very overgrown hedge. It's due to get wet and wild this afternoon so they made an early start.

A cold and sunny start here in Nottinghamshire, setting off home today via Nostell Priory, Wakefield. We're making use of our National Trust membership

There was rain in London Thurs lunchtime to afternoon but I mangaged to dodge it as it moved east with me trailing on a painful journey via sort of Elizabeth Line to the wilds of Essex - was able to point out to a young man that he was on the wrong branch of the line for his trip to excel for some sort of keep fit exhibition and should get off with me for him to change trains to the DLR to get back on track so to speak.
Friday bits of more rain PM which I slept through trying to recover from 2miles of walking on Tuesday ( not a lot but a proportion uphill , with bags ).
Morning was not too bad and got a bit of visitation in
Weekend expected more showers to persistant rain but south westerly so warm which means I should get out for Sat Christmas fayres at a couple of churches and a short political meeting.

Yesterday afternoon started dry but cold, the forecast was right about the wind chill! By 17:00 it was raining hard and very cold. This morning it had stopped raining but everything was wet. We had very high thin cloud that hardly interfered with the brilliant full moon directly overhead. I've just had a look and we now have thicker overcast and light rain. The glass has fallen back to 980mb. The forecast is for rain all day. The constant southerly winds will be moderate and we can expect a high of 10C, a low of 6C tonight and a wind chill of -4C for most of the day. The outlook is for similar weather. Take comfort from the fact it could be much worse!

Yesterday afternoon did exactly what it said on the tin. Cold wet and winy and that lasted all night and into this morning. It's still windy but it has stopped raining and the glass is on 997mb and rising. The southerly winds will be moderate all day and later will gust at up to 40mph. We can expect a high of 12C and a low of 7C tonight with a wind chill of -3 for most of the day. Similar broken weather is expected all week and Tuesday could be very wet.
