Yesterday afternoon ended an afternoon of watery sunshine by falling under overcast again with no late sun. First thing this morning it was breezy and overcast but dry, I've just had a shufti and it hasn't changed. The glass is a shade over 1012mb and the forecast is for a dry day, sunny spells early and late but overcast in the middle of the day. Te westerly winds will be brisk and gust to over 40mph. We can expect a high of 18C and a low of 8C tonight with a wind chill of up to -4C for much of the day.... The outlook is warmer, in fact from Monday on, very warm next week.

Yesterday afternoon was mostly overcast but eventually gave us some late sun. It was a clear night with a full moon and this morning it was still calm and a slight haze but not enough to obscure the full moon high in the South. The glass is up on 1022mb and the forecast is for a day of bright overcast with lots of sunny spells. The mainly SW wind starts very light and stays that way for most of the day. We can expect a high of 21C and a low of 12C tonight with only a slight wind chill that never gets above -2C. Expect similar overcast next week but very much warmer, it looks like another heat wave is on its way in.

Morning Cathy.... Yes, we look as though we are going to have a week of summer. It won't last long, British weather might be a lot of things but it is certainly not boring!

Barlick still has bright overcast and occasional sun.... A very pleasant day actually.

Yesterday we had another bright ending of the day with late sun but overcast before nightfall. It's been a clear night and this morning first thing it was calm and clear with a brilliant full moon. I've been out and checked and apart from a light mist it is the same. (The Met Office says we have heavy overcast..... )The glass is steady on 1022mb and the forecast is for a dry day with bright overcast but sunny spells. The light wind is SW until mid afternoon when it swings into the east but remains light. We can expect a high of 23C and a low tonight of 15C. There will be negligible wind chill. The rest of the week will be hot and sunny, we could describe it as another heat wave.... I think this is definitely Barlick Summer!

Yesterday afternoon was mainly overcast and there was no late sun. It was a warm clear night. This morning it's clear and mild and the glass is down on 1015mb. The forecast is for a sunny and very warm day. The easterly winds will be light and we can expect a high of 26C, a low of 14C tonight and negligible wind chill. Expect it to be even warmer tomorrow and a week of high summer!

Yesterday followed the same pattern as the day before... A lack of full sun and a gradual clouding over in the late afternoon. There was only a small amount of late sun. This morning it is calm and clear. The glass has fallen to 1012mb and the forecast is for full sun all day. The light wind starts as ENE and ends the day as West. We can expect a high of 30C and a low tonight of 13C with negligible wind chill, just cool enough to be welcome! The rest of the week is still forecast to be dry and sunny but the temperature will drop to more like the seasonal norm, the low 20s.

Yesterday, late morning we drove through Whittingham and had a rain shower of really big drops, short lived, but they were unusually big drops.

We had a spatter of rain here as well but I thought it hardly worth mentioning....This morning in Barlick it's just as planned, full sun and warming up.

Took me mother up to the bottom of Pendle Hill, it was showing as 32 degrees. It certainly felt like it when we stepped out of the air conditioned car.

She scrubs up OK for 87

Cathy is right, she looks wonderful for the mileage!
Yesterday was a perfect summer day. Full sun all day but not oppressive if you sat out in the shade.... I didn't get to home and bed until 21:00 but assume we had late sun right up to nightfall. It's calm and clear this morning. The glass is steady on 1012mb and the forecast is for a dry day of bright overcast and plenty of sunny spells. The mainly WSW wind will be light to moderate and we can expect a high of 23C and a low of 14C tonight. From noon on there will be a welcome chill of -2C. The outlook is similar weather to today for a week. This is Barlick Summer and very welcome....

Yesterday afternoon was very pleasant, warm and just enough sun to keep it bright without being oppressive. This morning we have clear skies, the glass is up on 1020mb and the forecast is for a day of full sun. The westerly winds will be light and we can expect a high of 23C and a low tonight of 14C.the wind will cool us down a bit but never more than -2C. The outlook for the next 6 days is for similar weather.

Yesterday was another very pleasant day. We finished the day with bright overcast. This morning it's calm, mild and overcast but dry. The glass is up on 1026mb and the forecast is for a very similar day to yesterday, bright overcast and sunny spells. The constant Easterly winds will be light and we can expect a high of 22C and a low tonight of 10C with a wind chill of -2C for much of the day. The outlook for the rest of the week is very similar but Tuesday might be a bit gloomy. Long term it looks as though we are cooling down a bit...... End of a short-lived summer?

Adelaide has cool temps, but it’s not too cold during the day, if you are doing something.
We have bright days and plenty of rain. (Maybe I could live in Barlick

.)
Native bushes and bulbs are flowering. Sending you rain

Yesterday was another very pleasant day with some late sun but filtered through thin overcast..... This morning is heavily overcast and we have a light breeze but it's dry. The glass is down on 1022mb and the forecast is for a dry day, overcast at first and then sunny spells in the afternoon. The easterly winds will be moderate and we can expect a high of 21C, a low tonight of 12C and a -3C wind chill this afternoon at times. Expect another dull day tomorrow and much cooler... After that the weather starts to brighten up and get warmer but only slowly..,...

Yesterday lived up to the forecast, a mainly overcast and cooler day but staying dry. No late sunshine. This morning it's calm and cloudy but dry. The glass is down on 1018mb and tending to fall. The forecast is for a very similar day to yesterday, heavy overcast all day but dry. The constant ENE wind will be moderate and we can expect a high of 17C and a low tonight of 11C. There will be a -2C wind chill for most of the day. Look for it to be brighter tomorrow and after a dull Thursday, bright and warmer for the rest of the week.

Yesterday kept to the hymn sheet. Overcast all day but it managed to stay dry..... It was overcast, calm and dry first thing this morning and it hasn't changed. The glass is steady on 1018mb and the forecast is for a dry day of bright overcast and sunny spells. The constant moderate NE wind gives us a high of 18C and a low of 6C tonight with a wind chill that will get up to -3C by this afternoon so not exactly high summer.... Tomorrow will be heavily overcast but after that the weather brightens and the temperature will rise into the low 20s so a bit of an improvement!
Later.... at 05:00. We have very light rain which wasn't on the hymn sheet.
