I know we shouldn't laugh but Mrs Tiz has just shown me a video made by an amateur geologist where he talks to the camera about his latest trip and shows images by holding up a book to the camera with the appropriate page. Unfortunately every time he does so he has the book upside down. The video was made on Christmas Eve so that might have something to do with the problem!

Canadian scientists found under ground traces of copper wire dating back 200 years and came to the conclusion that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 150 years ago.
Not to be outdone by their neighbours, in the weeks that followed, an American archaeologist dug to a depth of 20 feet, and shortly after, a story published in the New York Times:
"American archaeologists, finding traces of 250-year-old copper wire, have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network 50 years earlier than the Canadians".
One week later, the British authorities reported the following:
"After digging as deep as 30 feet in North Yorkshire, Jack Arkwright, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely nowt. Jack has therefore concluded that 250 years ago, Britain had already gone wireless.".

A man who was pushed into an industrial jelly mixer at the Chiver’s factory in Belvedere has now finally been awarded a settlement & compensation.
Apparently he will be set for life.

Can you post your cartoons a bit larger Stanley. On my screen I can read `Red wall credibility' but not the other words. Thanks.
