I liked the omelette so much I made another for dinner. One bowl of stew left but I put that in the fridge for today. For tea I had half a spit roasted chicken plus cheese and oatcakes and two small apples.

I started building a new mutton stew on Sunday. It was de-boned and de- fatted yesterday morning so I got veggies, added peas and carrots and made cabbage, onion and bacon to top it off. I had a bowl for dinner but then left it to stand and mature until today, improves the taste no end! I had a carbohydrate tea, muesli and two very small apples. I can feel the effect this morning, tinnitus is noticeably worse!

That's what I thought when I bought the Cyprus spuds Moh, in my defence I am not as hair trigger to carbs as Col is. I enjoyed them!
I had two Scotch Eggs for dinner, just ate them like apples with HP sauce! For tea I had Burger, beans, two eggs and some more chips..... Cheese and Stilton with mango and ginger on oatcakes for afters and two very small Cox's apples.

I whipped up a cooking storm yesterday to take advantage of the free leccy. At 9AM I switched everything on! The washing machine on a hot wash, the slow cooker with a ham hock in it, the oven with a chicken roasting and the frying pan to fry lardons to go in with the cabbage steaming in a separate pan. By teatime I had a cooked chicken in the fridge and a slow cooker full of chopped ham, veggies and cabbage and bacon. At least two days grub with no cooking.
For dinner I had carrots and cauliflower with a bit of the steamed cabbage. Tea was Chips (The last of the spuds Wendy!) a fried burger, baked beans and a fried egg. I reclaimed all the gravy from the cooking, the ham and the chicken were done in cider. I de-fatted it and have one bowl in the slow cooker and another in reserve in the fridge for the next stew. I left the fat on top of the one in the fridge so it will keep well.

I love slow cooking Moh!
Had a bowl of the new cabbage and pork for dinner. Pork is cooked but will become more tender so for tea I had a leg of chicken and some breast and then half a bowl of muesli because I fancied it!

I had the other leg of the chicken for dinner and simmered the rest of it with the gravy left over in the fridge until we had a strong chicken stock. I de-boned it and put it in the stew and had a bowl for tea with cheese and oatcakes for pudding.

The cabbage stew X 2 for dinner and tea. Good job I like the taste of it! Stilton on oatcakes for a treat after tea..,..
In case you are wondering, my weight is still quietly creeping down, very slow but constant despite the fact I am eating exactly what I want. Mind you, I have noted Wendy's comment about cream, I have not branched out into full exploitation of this aspect of her regime yet.....

I use Chinese 5 Spice a lot in Chilli and Noodle dishes. Hubby loves the smell of it drifting through the house and always says he can't wait for dinner when the smell drifts upstairs to where he sits at the computer. He has usually come to investigate proceedings within minutes!
