The last of the mutton stew for dinner and a bowl of Muesli for tea because I fancied it. Stewart delivered half a small sheep last night and it's Butcher's day today..... Plenty of fruit as usual.

I'm guessing this is the fish you're using in the pie. . .

I like "a melody of different fish" Moh.....
I boiled carrots and mashed them, Some used with a meat pie for dinner followed by a cheese and onion pie to fill up. (I gave Jack the crust.....) The remainder went in with the chicken.
I slow cooked a chicken with veggies all day and at teatime stripped the meat off and returned it to the stew. I kept some meat back for two chicken butties on wholemeal teacakes for tea. I froze the gravy overnight, skimmed the fat off this morning and returned the lot to the cooker. It's on low now and will be just right for dinner and tea. I tries some very good Ouzo in the gravy, it's interesting!

Had a fancy for bacon and tomato butties on oven bottom so I had two for dinner. At teatime I had a small bowl of muesli followed by a beetroot butty on oven bottom. If I get a yen like that I believe in following it. It's your body telling you you need it!

I had a ten minute tea. I sweated an onion down in a little oil, added half a tin of chopped tomatoes and then three rashers of bacon chopped up and cooked at the same time. I tipped that on top of 80gms of Fusili pasta bubbled up at the same time. I tossed the pasta in green pesto before adding the topping and finished it off with a few grams of mature cheddar. Easy quick and proper tasty.
