I can't really think of a clue.... You've seen it before. It's a miniature of the full size version but has a valid use when setting up a complicated workpiece for a cutting or drilling operation. So think work holding!

Yes!! Mick has got it. It's a miniature jack that looks like a toy but is actually a very useful machinist's jack that is used as a support for overhanging work pieces, particularly on milling machines.
Now we need another object. Any volunteers? :biggrin2:
