Gloria has got there. These are the grinding pans at Shirley's Bone mill where they calcified bones in a furnace and then ground them in water to produce a slurry that added the bone to the clay for fine bone china.
Now we need another object.

You're getting too good at this Kev.... Dead right. I found it in a general tool sale and bought it. I always buy tools if I don't know what they are for. I think it took me about 3 years to track this down and yes, it's for guiding wire on to a mandrel to make a spring.
Now we need another object!
